Sitka WhaleFest is a festival to celebrate marine life through science education, community and storytelling! Sitka WhaleFest raises awareness, educates, and creates enthusiasm for the marine environment. Our goal is to bring a deeper understanding of the marine environment to a diverse and inclusive audience in a way that all participants feel welcome and engaged.

Our mission is to show that learning science can be fun, to showcase the wonders of science, to relate how science fits into the larger context of modern everyday life, and to connect the public with scientists for a direct translation.

Our event board was thrilled to have more than 2,000 visitors and over 65 exhibits with hands-on activities for attendees to excitedly engage in at the 11th Annual Tallahassee Science Festival. The energy was electric and we were surrounded by many smiling faces, fellowship, and so many wonderful STEM-focused activities. We are so proud of everyone who showed up as sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, families, and our community at large.‍

Science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) will come to life at events and activities across the state during the 6th annual Tennessee STEAM Festival, taking place Oct. 14-23, 2022. The Festival was founded by the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring and incorporates events hosted by a wide range of museums, schools, community centers and other attractions.

The Air Force recognizes there is a critical need for STEM talent for future technology and innovation efforts within our nation’s STEM workforce. A diversified STEM talent pool will establish the pace of technology advancements and enable the Air Force to avoid technological surprises. A transformational STEM workforce will also direct the path of technological dominance and sustain a combat edge for our armed services.

The mission of the USA Science & Engineering Festival is to stimulate and sustain the interest of our nation’s youth in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by producing and presenting compelling, exciting, and educational STEM events and programs!
